Italian lighting manufacturer Foscarini has brought to the American market a new line of suspension lamps that draws inspiration from traditional Japanese lanterns.
Designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, the Rituals family offers complementary forms, volumes and proportions, including an extra large unit for large spaces.
The products “draw their inspiration from traditional Japanese lanterns and, in particular, from the 1950s creations by Isamu Noguchi, bringing a suffused and precious light to a variety of different settings,” the company said.
Products are made from blown, satin-effect glass and lacquered metal. A variety of lamping options are available.
