Winchester, Va.-based Trex Co. has introduced a new spiral stairs collection that the company says is a functional, space-saving alternative to standard stairs.

“Offering sleek, yet sturdy, construction, Trex Spiral Stairs represent a perfect blend of form and function,” said Ron Kaplan, chairman, president and CEO of Trex. “This easy-to-install system provides homeowners with an attractive solution to their staircase needs, while offering a host of customizable features for one-of-a-kind outdoor spaces.”

Available in both aluminum and galvanized steel, the stair system blends seamlessly with the company’s decking and railing systems and showcases options that include a lip-up tread design to ensure the space between the risers does not exceed 4 ins. It also is designed to incorporate various components of Trex’s LED-dimmable DeckLighting system.

Made from recycled steel steel (25%) and aluminum (60%), It features powder-coated colors that match the signature Trex decking and railing. Additionally, it offers 12 customizable options.

“More and more, homeowners and contractors are thinking ‘outside the box’ when it comes to creating distinctive outdoor living spaces of all shapes, sizes and levels,” Kaplan added. “We are pleased to offer homeowners yet another way to enhance the beauty and functionality of their home environments through spiral staircases that feature Trex’s unparalleled standard of durability and performance.”
